Military Honors information: If you or some one you know would like to be recognized for your military service by a beautiful program conducted by Doug Day (Dr. Lawrence Day’s Brother), at the BDFS Golden Anniversary Conference, the following information needs to be submitted as soon as possible. Each Veteran will receive a Certificate from the Governor (Matt Bevin), Commissioning them an Official Kentucky Colonel. The Vet will also receive certificates from the House of Representatives, the Senate and other Congressional Officials. This is truly a means of saying “Thank you†to our veterans for their service to our country that they perhaps they did not receive from our government previously. All we need to have is: Name, address, Phone number, branch of service and rank. That is all you need. Not complicated. If not for yourself, do it for a loved one, family member, or friend. These awards are given for current Active Duty, Veteran of any service time and for Deceased veterans (this one is primarily for family members to have a beautiful keep sake).
