Labeling can’t be over stressed, label tops and sides of boxes, tape 3X5 cards on with sharpie writing of what is in the boxes. So for example kitchen boxes might be 20 boxes and you need the pizza cutter before you empty them, which box is it in? Pantry boxes are all food, dishes boxes are all dishes, plastic ware, cutlery, junk drawer, cutting boards, kitchen tools? Assuming kitchen tools is spatulas and serving spoons it is probably in there with the can openers and apple slicer so you only need to open one box to find it since you labeled.

If you want to save your time and nerves, you`d better hire some experts. I used to hire this moving company and these guys were really helpful, simple get quotes I am very glad that was recommended by my cousin to deal with this team. They helped a lot with packing and loading/unloading both my family and my parent.
